what a beauty!!!
They areindeed very beautiful. Not easy to photograph becasue they spend most of the time high up in the tree canopy where they blend a lot more and provide a difficult angle.
BEAUTIFUL PHOTOGRAPH !
PS IM NOT SURE IF I EVER SAW A BIRD WITH CAT WISKERS BEFORE LOL.
Yes, I know, it’s a little odd. Not quite sure what purpose they perform. They are very interesting birds making a distinct slow drumming sound through inflating bags on either side of the throat that gives them another nickname – ‘(buddhist) monk of the forest’
Indeed, they are very spectacular when you can catch sight of them.
wonderful, thx for showing us. Regards from Germany – magdalena
You are welcome
is beautifull i think he /she waiting for …….enjoy..thank you
Actually, he or she is preparing a nest inside the tree. They hollow it out and have the young inside. It has to have an emergency escape hatch as well, even though it is relatively high up!
